The Lofoten Aquarium is a visitor centre for Norwegian Aquaculture
At the Lofoten Aquarium you will find
information about Norwegian aquaculture down by the entrance, and at the
magnificent exhibition ”The Art of Coexistence” on the second floor.
Furthermore, you can see our informative film about Norwegian aquaculture
on the 2nd floor, daily at 11:00.
Together with our associates, Pundslett Laks in Digermulen, the Lofoten
Aquarium offers showing tours where you can see and hear about how a
major, well established aquaculture facility works. The tours are arranged
all year round, but must be booked in advance.
Example arrangements for showing tours:
• Rendezvous at the Lofoten Aquarium in the morning for information and a
guided tour of the aquarium.
• Travel to Pundslett by bus or boat/RIB.
• Information and guided tour at Pundslett.
• Return to Kabelvåg by bus or boat/RIB.

We can custom-make your arangements and provide a quotation on request.
The estimated duration of showing tours is approx. 6 hours. Arrangements
are suitable for individuals and groups of all ages.
In summer 2012, you will also be able to see the salmon at close quarters
in our two salmon cages down by the pier. Feeding and information at
specific times will be announced in the daily programme.
